However, if I do that, I will need to drastically lower the water level to avoid flooding the pond/rest of the park, since the pond is so tiny. My plan was to just place a water source using Extra Landscaping Tools. Now, because I'm going for a pretty-looking park, I obviously don't want to use a water outlet as a source of water for it. However, I'm currently in the process of creating a small pond inside a city park in one of my downtown districts. I have a water source in the middle of the lake and have set the water level at just the right height to keep both the lake and river at a high water level, without flooding it. My map has a very large lake along one side, with a river that connects to it and runs across several tiles of the map. However, I have a question about this feature. I know that you can use Extra Landscaping Tools to create a man-made lake (by placing a water source), and can also use it to adjust the water level (so as to avoid overflowing the man-made lake). I have the Extra Landscaping Tools mod, but am only just now getting back into playing C:S after quite a few years. I hope this topic hasn't already been covered - I did some searching but wasn't able to find anything that answered my specific question.
